El-Hadji Diouf has agreed a move to Blackburn from Sunderland for an undisclosed fee. Diouf had signed for Sunderland in the summer 2008 has failed to get a goal in his 14 appearances for Sunderland.
He has a chequered disciplinary history, including a penchant for spitting at players and fans. However, he did enjoy 3 good years under Sam Allardyce at Bolton and both will be hoping that he can recapture and build upon that form at Blackburn.
Diouf will not be available for Blackburn on Saturday having missed the 12pm registration deadline today.
