Hi all,
I am now going to be helping out on Dan's blog, hopefully I'll write something worth reading, I run my own football blog at Tarquin football, where I like to focus on predictions and why Lawro continues to be employed, but for my first blog I thought I might as well look at the biggest story this weekend - who will be coming up to the prem next year?
Wolves, obviously - but there is a rather exciting three way going on for the second spot:
All Birmingham need to do is win and they'll be through, but if they lose and Reading win - they'll be going up on goal difference - and they just so happen to be meeting at the Madejski stadium, so it's all open
Should Birmingham not win, however, Sheffield United could sneak in with a win over Crystal Palace, managed by guess who - Neil Warnock...you couldn't have scripted this better
The play-offs are not quite as exciting at the wrong end this year, only Preston have a slim chance of nicking the final spot off Burnley (or Cardiff)
But it should be an entertaining final day, as always - I think Birmingham or Sheffield United will be the more likely victors, I would like to see the Royals and the Blues back as they were both entertaining sides last year
Any thoughts?

Welcome Tarquin - good question to start with.
I think Birmingham and Reading will be the two to make it up. Brimingham automatically and Reading in the play-offs.
I will have to revise however my previous predictions for the drop from the Prem as Stoke look safe now... Maybe I will let the weekends results play out before predicting further on those.
New boy...
As a Scotsman, I'd like to have seen McLeish do well, but considering Brum have done as much as they can to avoid automatic promotion, it doesn't bode well for them if they do go up (and I no longer give a hoot for Eck). The Brummies won't like hearing this, but they'll be the new West Brom (I love them Baggies!).
For the play-offs, if Burnley can scrape in, I'd be putting my money on them. They've just got better and better and are the sort of team that makes big shouts in the big games like their cup performances...and that's all the play-offs are, a very small, very lucrative cup.
