He did appear in the greatest football film of all time, Escape to Victory! Which should, by act of Parliament if necessary be shown on the tellybox every Christmas.

Unfortunately, my most recent memory was of Pele in an advert during the world cup (I think) for some product relating to erectal disfunction (or some such)
