Alistair Magowan at the BBC has done a feature on Portugal (or rather, Ronaldo) missing out on the world cup
We do not need you to start jabbering away about this when they have a one goal lead already! Focus on it if they actually aren't going, don't tempt fate!
And according to former Portuguese midfielder Paulo Sousa... it would be huge blow for every fan not to witness Ronaldo at his peak.
"A World Cup would not be the same without Portugal not only for the country but for football fans all over the world," he told BBC Sport.
I'm practically in tears here...
Three words: Suck it up
*They'll qualify...go bet on it now

Bosnia are a very challenging side to play away from home - definitely the most improved European nation in the past 2 years, so a turnaround isn't impossible! Unfortunately for Portuguese fans, the EU still won't allow them to place bets through the suppliers of their choice, so they are stuck with the same lousy odds offered to the French and Dutch through state run betting monopolies. Check out this comparison from last week's Ireland v France game http://tiny.cc/Copb6 - awful! If you believe in basic consumer rights for gamblers, please support the Right2bet petition.
True - Bosnia all the way
can I ask a question - why does the EU control gambling in those countries when we have a completely deregulated gambling economy in the UK?
